Hey Everybody!!!!
Today for some people the day started kinda sad after Gerany lost against Serbia in the World Cup.
Well, there was actually no time for sadness because a wonderful day was waiting for us!!!
After having a great breakfast in the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, we took the bus to Downtown San Francisco and arrived on Pier 39. We had time to shop souveniers, see the Alctraz Island from mainland and visit the Hard Rock Cafe. Later on we walked from the Pier to the Cable Car Station. San Francisco is famous for the Cable Cars and we had the oppurtunity to ride one. In small groups we got on Cable Cars and arrived to Union Square (where we already shopped yesterday) to do more shopping and have lunch. At 2:30 we met our Tourguides to go sightseeing in San Francisco. We got to see many different spots in the city, like the famous house from the TV Show "Full House" and the City Hall. We also got out of the bus in a few places like the Lombard Street with its beautiful flowers and the "Hippie-Street" (where we hopefully go back tomorrow to continue our shopping!!!).
After we said Goodbye to awesome Tourguides we headed to the well-known Chinatown of San Francisco!!! And guess what..... WE DID MORE SHOPPING!!!!
We only had one hour but that was enough (since we are all broke.... jk). At 7 we went to have dinner at a Chinese Restaurant. We were served with almost all the chinese traditional meals. We enjoyed the good food until we were full, but even after that they served us Green Tea Ice Cream for Desert.
Satisfied we went back to the hotel! Some people enjoyed the pool or went straight to their rooms to rest after such a successful day!!!
It is amazing to realize that our West Coast trip is almost over! Tomorrow we are going to enjoy our last day in this beautiful city with all the friends that we made here, and hopefully have our last good memories about our exchange year in the US.
AGAIN HAPPY SWEET 16 TO YARA FROM SAUDI ARABIA!!!!!!
Good Night and Thank You all for making this experience possible!!!!
